Looking for a book or other item and can’t find it in our library system? You can search libraries all over the state using OCLC FirstSearch!
Go to OCLC FirstSearch and log in using the authorization number and password located below the expiration date on your Justice Public Library card.
Once you log in, you need to select a database. WorldCat will have everything that most people will ever need to look for, so start with that. Then type in a title, author, etc., and click Search. (You’ll be able to limit your search to narrow the results on the next page or by clicking Advanced Search.)
If you find the item you were searching for you may request it through our library if you have a Justice Public Library card. (PLEASE NOTE: We can only request material from libraries in Illinois.) Call or stop in at the library to place your request. Please see our Interlibrary Loan Policy for details on timing, renewals, fees, etc. Most in-state loans are free.
